In this Privacy statement Gusto Casa informs you about the use of your personal data within the Gusto Casa website (hereafter: the ‘Gusto Casa Website’). The Gusto Casa Website is aimed among other things at displaying advertisements for house hunters.

By using the Gusto Casa Website (for example by creating an account) you expressly and unambiguously consent to the processing of your personal data in accordance with this Privacy statement.

The use of personal data in your Gusto Casa account

Type of personal data

To use certain services on the Gusto Casa Website you must create a personal account. Registration of a first name, surname, password and email address is mandatory for this account.

The Gusto Casa Website offers the option of adding further details to your account in order to personalise your profile. Whether or not you do so is your own choice and your own responsibility.

Purposes of the use

Gusto Casa uses the mandatory (personal) data from your Gusto Casa account for the following purposes:

a) Securing your account

Your login details (email address and password) are used to secure your account. You can change these login details in your account at any time.

b) Services on the Gusto Casa Website

The (personal) data in your Gusto Casa account may also be used to deliver the services you request via the Gusto Casa Website. Those services include:

• finding a match between a house hunter and a seller;
• sending you new sellers by email;
• sending you new buyers by email;
• facilitating communication between a house hunter, a seller, Gusto Casa and third parties (providers of related services).

c) Email marketing

Gusto Casa uses your email address solely to forward homeowners or buyers responding to the advertisements, and for communication about the purchase or sale of a home.

d) Customer contact

The data in your account may also be used by Gusto Casa to handle your questions and/or complaints and to provide the information you have requested.

The use of automatically generated personal data

Type of personal data

When you use the Gusto Casa Website the user's IP address is registered automatically. Your use of the Gusto Casa Website (browsing or clicking behaviour, for example) is also recorded. The IP address is stored temporarily in a log file.

Purposes of the use

Gusto Casa uses this automatically generated (personal) data for the following purposes:

a) Research into use of the Gusto Casa Website

Gusto Casa uses data relating to use of the Gusto Casa Website for anonymous, statistical research. The aim is to improve the Gusto Casa Website, its ease of use and the service provided. This data also allows advertisements on the Gusto Casa Website to be targeted more precisely. Gusto Casa uses only anonymous data that cannot be traced back to an individual visitor.

b) Securing the Gusto Casa Website

Gusto Casa does so among other things through physical (access) security, the use of passwords, a password policy, password hashing and encryption of data originating from visitors and from Gusto Casa. These security measures are tested regularly for vulnerabilities by a professional third party.

The data is held on a third party's servers. A processing agreement has been concluded with that third party. The data is held on servers located in Europe.

Third-party websites

This Privacy statement relates only to the Gusto Casa Website and not to other websites linked to from it. If a hyperlink on a Gusto Casa Website takes you to someone else's website, such as an estate agent's, this privacy statement does not apply to your visit there. Gusto Casa advises you to read the privacy statement of those third-party websites carefully.

Access to, changing and deleting your data

You can view, change or delete your personal data via your own account. You may ask Gusto Casa at any time to change or delete your data. To do so, send a written request to info@gustocasa.nl.

Data retention periods

Gusto Casa will not keep your personal data longer than is strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which it is collected. The retention periods are:

• Personal data supplied by you: for the term of your agreement with Gusto Casa and for up to 7 years afterwards;
• Information collected via cookies: for 1 year.

Cookies

The Gusto Casa Website uses analytical, functional and tracking cookies. The purpose is to ensure the Website functions properly and to measure visits and behaviour so that the Gusto Casa Website can be made better and easier to use. The data is not shared with third parties. The data collected by the analytical cookies is anonymised and therefore cannot be traced back to you as a visitor, which is why no consent is required for it. As Gusto Casa grows and develops, it may happen that one or more parts or assets of the business are transferred to a third party. As part of that, the related (personal) data may also be transferred to that third party. Should this situation arise, Gusto Casa will inform you in good time via the Gusto Casa Website. If you do not agree with the transfer, you can delete your account or send Gusto Casa a request for deletion.

Gusto Casa reserves the right to change this Privacy statement. Changes may be announced via the Gusto Casa Website or by email. Gusto Casa advises you to review the Privacy statement regularly. If you do not agree with the changes, you can delete your account or send Gusto Casa a request for deletion via info@gustocasa.nl.
