Taag- en Rubicondreef en omgeving, Utrecht
1e Daalsedijk 123, UTRECHT
About this property
The home
Will you join us on the 1e Daalsedijk? We are looking for a new resident for number 123: a cozy house with a city garden in one of the most pleasant streets in Utrecht! Have you seen that flower garden in front of the door? You’ll fall in love with it instantly. In the summer, people often sit on a bench in front of their houses in the sun. Can you see yourself sitting there?
You enter the house and pass through the hallway into the living and dining room. There are large windows at both the front and back of the house, allowing plenty of light inside. The living and dining areas are combined, and the open kitchen means you can always keep chatting with your partner, friends, or family while you prepare a delicious meal for them. You can brighten up the city garden with plants and flowers; put a small bistro set out, and you’ll love sitting here in the summer!
The house still features a characteristic mantelpiece, panel doors, and a sliding glass door system (kamer en suite). These are the kind of details we adore!
Upstairs, you'll find the large master bedroom at the front of the house, which easily fits a spacious double bed and a large wardrobe (hello, storage space!). In the middle, you’ll find the bathroom. At the rear, there is another bedroom, which you could potentially use as a home office. A loft ladder provides access to the attic, offering even more storage space.
Surroundings
The Pijlsweerd neighborhood is one we know like no other! Besides our office being located down the street, we also live here. In this quiet street, just behind the Amsterdamsestraatweg, both older Utrechters and young residents live side by side. Due to the transformation that the Amsterdamsestraatweg and its surrounding neighborhoods have undergone in recent years, this part of Utrecht is becoming increasingly popular. Not only is the streetscape brightened up by artworks by Jan is de Man, but an increasing number of fun shops, cafés, and restaurants are finding their place here.
Around the corner is Ddadi, where you can eat really delicious—and above all, cozy—food! Across the street are Dubbel/Dwars and Rose & Vanilla, where you can grab a wonderful cup of coffee and vegan cakes. There are also plenty of other great eateries further down the Amsterdamsestraatweg, such as Bagels & Beans or Brandstof for tasty sandwiches, The Food Club for a wonderful dinner, and Satriales, where you can eat Italian pizza or pick up a ball of dough to start working with at home. The Albert Heijn is literally around the corner from this house, so your homemade pizza will be on the table in no time!
Want to head to the city center? It's just a matter of crossing the Singel. And walking to the station is actually better than taking the bike. In the mood for some nature? You are just a five-minute bike ride from Julianapark, one of the oldest city parks in Utrecht. A bicycle tunnel connecting 2e Daalsedijk with Lombok will soon be realized, allowing you to reach Utrecht’s city beach, Soia, in ten minutes by bike!
