This cozy house is located in a quiet, green street with the vibrancy of the city center within walking distance. The charm of an older home combined with the luxury of a modern kitchen and bathroom makes for a wonderful living experience! In addition to the bright living room and open kitchen, you can enjoy a lovely city garden on the ground floor. In summer, you can open the French doors completely to extend your living space outdoors; the green garden creates a delightful climate in both the house and the garden. On the first floor—completely rebuilt in 2017—you will find one of the bedrooms, equipped with spacious designer built-in closets and a view of a beautiful tree, ensuring you’ll wake up to the sound of chirping birds. The tree also provides lovely natural shade on hot summer days. At the rear of the first floor, a bright study has been created where you can work productively or read a good book in total peace next to the small stove. This room also provides access to the northeast-facing roof terrace, which was recently updated. Because neighboring houses also feature terraces here, the sun is not blocked, allowing you to enjoy the sunshine until late in the afternoon. The second floor features two additional spacious bedrooms, both fitted with split-unit air conditioning for a cool and comfortable sleep during hot summer nights. Both rooms are also equipped with custom built-in closets. All in all, this is a wonderful home that is a joy to live in during all seasons!

Surroundings

We know the Pijlsweerd neighborhood like the back of our hand; we live just a few doors down ourselves, and our office will soon be one of your neighbors across the street.

On the weekends, it’s wonderful to walk to the market, grab a seat on a terrace, or browse the local shops. You can walk into the city center in less than 5 minutes! Fun fact: you can actually reach the Central Station faster on foot than by bike. Have you seen the new artwork by Jan is de Man? His street art can be found not just on this street, but throughout the entire neighborhood. The street is full of green initiatives led by residents, and in summer, there is a lively social atmosphere created by and for neighbors. Just around the corner is the Albert Heijn, with a lunchroom above it that crafts the most creative meals using products from the Albert Heijn 'waste-not-want-not' range—pretty cool, right? In the mood for coffee and cake in the sun? Rose & Vanilla has lovely benches sitting in the sun; it’s the perfect place to start your day. The Amsterdamsestraatweg is home to great dining spots like GYS, The Food Club, Satriales, and Brandstof. Prefer drinks by the water? Enjoy them at Roost aan de Singel.

If you prefer to cook yourself rather than visit a restaurant, you have Albert Heijn, Eko Plaza, and Aldi right around the corner. If you want to add an Asian twist to your meal, just walk over to Amazing Oriental. The Amsterdamsestraatweg is developing rapidly, resulting in an ever-growing selection of fun restaurants and shops. Up for a game of ping pong? Head to the PingPong club. Jeu de Boules? You can do that too! With the arrival of Wisselspoor, these hotspots will only continue to increase. Julianapark is also a short distance away—a fantastically beautiful park perfect for walking and relaxing. One more tip: you live around the corner from Tropical eatery Prem; it will be very difficult to resist during your lunch break, but their sandwiches are absolutely the best!

2nd floor:

Landing with two identical bedrooms fitted with custom built-in closets. Both rooms are equipped with split-unit air conditioning.
